Rabbi Urinates In Aisle, Diverts Brooklyn Flight

Associated Press-name changed to slam the asshole.

-- FBI investigators said Lipa Margulies was the unruly passenger who caused a United Airlines flight to be diverted to Ocean Parkway instead of Lakewood.

Authorities said he lit a cigarette, argued with a flight attendant, then urinated and made a kaka in the plane's aisle.

Margulies was taken off flight 1502 over the weekend and questioned by police, a spokeswoman said.

The man was "acting extremely inappropriately," the airlines said. "When you want to run a safe airline, we don't tolerate that type of activity on our aircraft."

Flight attendants noticed that Margulies appeared drunk not long after the plane left Miami. Margulies later lit a cigarette, started singing "oi es iz gut tzu zine a Yid", and allegedly began to argue with a flight attendant who asked him to put it out, she said. He said something about being so happy because he fleeced some old people out of their life savings.

He obeyed, but when the flight attendant walked away, he allegedly stood up, urinated, and took a crap on the person in row 9c.

People familiar with the alter kaker/pisher, say he can't help himself, he has been urinating and shitting on people all his life.

I laughed so hard! You've quite a sense of humor! I personally would love to hear you on a talk show, but I am concerned for your welfare. What you are doing has never been done before, and you seem to really know all the heavy hitters.

Be careful!

UOJ,

I enjoy reading your blog but I don't like posts like this one. It is silly and juvenile and only serves to detract from the seriousness of the issues you raise.

Where exactly in the article does it say this man was a Rabbi? Where does it say he was orthodox? Does anyone with a Yiddish name automatically become a "Rabbi" therefore all orthodox Jews are subject to your ridicule? I beleive you have deviated from the facts that are represented in the article. But I would expect such, from an unorthodox Jew with a chip on his shoulder.

I sent a blog in 2 hours ago, have made some changes. Please post the revised version below. Thanks.

I am reluctant to give my name, as I'm a Jew that has his own blemishes and has made errors during his lifetime.
Many people on your blog literally vilify and curse any Rabbi, Rosh Yeshiva, or Ba’al Habayis towards whom they have some complaint. They totally neglect the fact that they themselves may have blemishes and errors in their conduct.

My dear OUJ, I do want to commend you for bringing the very serious issue of molestation out in the open. You should know that in the last 10-15 years there have been many individuals who have dealt with this issue in a direct and forthright manner. They have called the police and Child Protective Services when called for. I myself have reported at least 20 teachers, parents, and Rabbis that have engaged in this reprehensible act. For your own records, the only Rav I know of who has halachically permitted these calls to be made is Rav Dovid Cohen, who has been vilified on your site by some ignorant, arrogant people who have no knowledge of the history of molestation in the US and Israel.

The bad news however is, in my opinion, that your blog will not continue past a year from now. And not because your fight is unimportant. On the contrary, it's a desperate, serious issue in our community. Your blog will not survive because it has attracted some of the sickest, angriest, and uninformed members of our Orthodox student and parent community. The venom and hatred is so deep that it literally poisons the message you want to portray. The fact that you allow bad language and undocumented attacks on distinguished Jews is one of the reasons why your blog will not survive. In the last 6 months, people have named as many as 50 different members of the Orthodox community, many of whom were attacked based on hearsay, hatred, jealousy, or other unknown reason.

Perhaps you can use your energy and talent to create an organization that will deal solely with the issue of molestation in Yeshivas, camps, and Orthodox homes. This way you won't have to hide behind the name ‘unorthodox Jew’-which I’m sure you're not- but can be out there in the open with other decent professionals and Rabbonim who are seriously concerned with this issue.

For the record, I believe that Torah Temima will not close down but will continue to function. Don't be under the illusion that thousands upon thousands of people are reading and supporting your blog. There are many among our Orthodox Jewish population who are concerned and angry. I have asked hundreds of Orthodox single and married people if they are familiar with your blog. Unfortunately, 90-95% of our people have no knowledge of it and just continue with their lives despite the fact that this is a critical issue in Klal Yisroel.

I want to commend you for the work you've done till now, but if you continue to throw out names and have people reputations without proof, your service becomes a disservice.

I look forward to your response on this blog. Perhaps I will find out very shortly who you are and how to reach you directly.

Signed:
Not totally on the sidelines
