Sorry to say, but if ReformJew tries Ohr Somayach, all he will get is more polished versions of the same simplistic thinking he has been receiving already. Maybe someone from the YU world can help him more.
Also, this thread is really pointing out the limits of anonymous blogging and commenting. When people are unindentified, they can totally lose control.

Go Fuck yourself unorthodox. You are the lowest fuckin scum in the whole world. You will burn in dogshit after you die forever. You will join the ranks of hitler, arafat etc. the only diffrence is, youre worse than them, because they hate jews but theyre non jews-you're a fuckin self hating jew and god hates people like you. You're identity is about to be exposed and you are gonna have problems with you're kids getting into yeshivos, shiduchim and the like. Within two weeks I will personally pay for 2 full page ads in Yated and Hamodia and expose who you really are. The ad will also have your address and phone number and alot of personal details about you. Un-ortho, you will not be rambling on the web forever. Maybe hire a security guard to protect youreself after these ads.

P.s. David Kelsey is next

To the person that just posted the previous as anonymous,

You are probably the biggest looser in the world. You think anyone gives a damn about your threats. Your comparisons to Hitler and Arafat bespeak of your immaturity and lack of intelligence. You obviously don’t know who Hitler and Arafat were.
In response to your threats: Firstly, you will never find out who anyone is. Secondly, if you do you can’t do anything about it. Thirdly, you probably can’t afford to take out pages in any paper. Even if you could they would never publish it. Fifthly, yeshivas love money and if UO is successful in business, even Elya Svei would embrace him. They are whores!!! Get it thru your thick skull!! Your language is the worst from everyone on this blog!! You’re a looser with a complete lack of intelligent or sharp words! Go read the Yaated and get excited over the Tisha Baav muser speeches you dumb lemming!!!

UO, keep up the great work!

David Kelsey, don’t worry about the loosers

The Chassidic world makes me sick! They have institutionalized public schnorring as a way of life. No matter how much money a chassid has, when it comes time to get married, the couple goes on every welfare program known to man, from food stamps to Section 8 housing. Chassidic newspapers are run by sycophanitc ghetto kings who use their papers to fawn over local politicians who they think will bring them more "programs" from which they can spoon off the top. The infantile chassidim who read these papers often believe the papers are "kosher" newspapers, and they form their childish world views based on the garbage in the "kosher" newspaper. Nearly every other story in the chassidic newspapers is about some program or another that is available to the community, to be administered by the ghetto king. This is now the accepted way of life for Chassidim and it is disgusting! And it is no longer confined only to chassidim. The black hatters now have embraced welfare as a way of life. It crept in slowly over the last thirty years but it is here now as a big reality. Listen here: A society of shnorrers will produce no leaders! We are now facing a crisis in Orthodox life. WE HAVE NO LEADERS! And the situation doesn't appear to be getting any better. We are supposed to be a spiritual people, but we have become people who worship Mammon. Even the rabbonim scramble after money the way a heroin addict looks for a fix. The few good guys are quiet. There is no leadership. We have tolerated a situation where welfare, schnorring and theft are tolerated. A "cherem" means nothing anymore because it has been so abused. As long as a guy has bucks, he will get the aliyas. That's all the rabbomin seem to care about anymore. MONEY. Suck it up anyway you can. Get it from the rich father in law. Get it from the government. Schnorr any way you can. But get the money. It's our communal sickness.

True story guys,

I have a good friend that is a world famous secular person.
He is a real good guy.

Somehow, Lakewood got a hold of him and pursued him, until they finally got a meeting.

Bottom line, he was so disgusted with the two Kotler brothers, they promised him Gan Eden for sure if he donated five million dollars, and had a building named after his mother who was not Jewish.

Snoopy has a great point about Ohr Somayach - this institution is turning middle class Jewish boys into Jewlingish speaking welfare recipients.

They are more damaging than Jews for Jesus, as they take well-intended secular Jews interested in the Torah and attempt to turn them into Eved Ivri Hebrew zombie slaves.
They are shockingly successful, at least for a while, though most of us in the end chuck everything.
Please UO, reconsider your support of this horrible institution and others like it.
This is a nasty franchise.

I had a meeting in Queens last night so on my way home, I stopped in 770 for maariv. I must say that the place is loony home but they are still better than most of the other Jewish groups. They keep their problems within. The worst thing they do is say “yechi Hamelech” Yes it is crazy but it doesn’t hold a candle to the other moronic groups when is comes to chilul hashem. Another group of good independent thinkers are the “CHARDAL” “Chareidi Leumi”, The Religious Zionists. They will emerge, as the most ehrliche people of the 21st century. They are good honest G-d fearing Jews. They don’t have fancy dinners, they don’t need takanos, and there is no pressure to go into kollel. Frumkeit amongst “chardal” is not measured by the brim of balck hat, its not measured by being a “konoi” Both these groups don’t have the problems and chilul hashem of Bobov, Satmar, Spink, Viznitz, Skever, Belz, and all other groups. Last week, one of the Satmar “gIDOL” got served by his own grandson!! Bobov is in Federal court over control of the buildings and federal funds!! Lakewood is busy with making dinners and kissing up to every rich “am haaretz” in the world! The yeshiva velt in general, including some of the most notable speakers have decided why events like 9/11 happened. They have all the answers!!! There is now a yeshiva on every exit along the Garden State Parkway. Every putz gets to spew his opinions during mussar sessions and Shabos afternoons. I was privileged to spend my high school years in a hard-core litvish yeshiva. Looking back at those four years and my years in Beis medrash, I think that every group in Judaism was put down. My 11th grade rebbi, who happened to be a “baal tshuva” was the most intolerant person in the world. He said that one is better off not davening then daven in a chasidishe shul! He knew what G-d wanted. He managed to brainwash and is still brainwashing many precious souls every year. I am happy because I got to see their good learning side and their creepy decadent side!

UO, bring out all the truth!!

Whenever I question a frum Jew about why he takes food stamps when he doesn't really need them, he tells me, "The schvartzers do it, so why shouldn't we?" This is the most common answer. I am sure you have all heard it as well. After years of yeshiva "shteiging" this guy's world view is: the best approach to life to emulate the economic lifestyle of ignorant low class goyim.

What the hell has happened to us? We learn in yeshiva for years, study the words of Moshe Rabbeinu, the Tannaim, Amoraim, Rambam, Rashi, the Baalei Mussar for years and years and the only thing we can come up with after all that is "Why shouldn't we do it? The schvartzers do it." Hear me: this generation is a generation of cripples.

I fear for the next generation.

He hasn’t told me the Rabbis name, but as soon as he does his name will appear on this blog. What a rasha!! His rabbi knows that it’s a good deal and that it’s going to work out well. He is capitalizing on getting more money out of the sucker because he will tell him “ You see, You made more money because I told you to wait until after the nine days!” This is an example of a guy that can probably read gemara but he thinks that he is also a “meivin” in business. He should go back to the Yated or some of Ely Svei “kuntres’ (which happens to be a copy of the Mahrsha anyway) He was never mecahdesh anything!!!

Some creative Torah concepts:
1. Marry a girl with a rich father.
2. Go on welfare.
3. Get food stamps.
4. Ask your rebbe what you should do whenever you have to do something, such as: what color car should I buy? and other deep subjects.
5. Refuse all higher education and laugh at those who went to school.
6. Convince yourself that everyone except people living your exact lifestyle is really, deep down, unhappy and unfulfilled.
7. Convince yourself that anyone who pursues an outside interest such as reading, stamp collecting, music, archeology, sports, art, etc. is a "michugenah."
8. Allow the exterior of your home to become a dilapidated eyesore which disgusts your neighbors. After all, nowhere in the Torah does it say anything about keeping your lawn neat. Throw your garbage all over the lawn and street.
9. Learn how to get the most welfare.
10. Steal if you can; its part of business after all. Steal from your friends. Steal their ideas and use them to start your own competing business. (This happened in Monsey.)
These are just some starters, some good ideas that make sense!
